| I am very pleased with my new mixer and know I've made an excellent purchase. It's heavier duty than my previous Sunbeam stand mixer that I had for about 14 years before it "died." My new mixer has a deeper bowl so the beaters are a little harder to remove without getting some batter on the edge of the bowl...have to remember to slide the bowl over to the smaller bowl position to prevent this. And, I'm getting used to pushing the button to raise and lower the beaters instead of just grabbing the top handle and raising and lowering them. |

| I had to replace my 20 year-old Sunbeam mixer last month and since I didn't want to spend $200-300+ on the Kitchen Aid I decided to go with what I had already experienced and so far I have been pleased. I chose this model because it came with glass bowls, the whisk attachments, as well as the dough hooks. The large glass bowl is a little heavy to handle when full but I like the glass option in case I want to put it in the microwave. My old bowls also fit in this mixer so sometimes I use those. I have made bread with the dough hooks and they worked pretty well mixing in all the flour as long as I scraped the bowl periodically. I like that the beaters don't have a "stem" going down through the middle; they're easier to clean. The mixer portion of the machine comes off so it's fairly easy to store. |

| After owning probably the original of this mixer for over 25 years, it was great to find that the quality was still the same. What was even better is the price of 69.99 was a great value. I have tried the mixer and it works just the same. The only difference is the mixing bowls are heavier. I just put them away and will use my old, lighter bowls until I break one. Probably not going to happen if they have lasted through 25 years of use and at least 20 household moves. I would definitely recommend this mixer to new bakers and for routine tasks to anyone.
